It all started with a ragtag crew of seasoned medical professionals and part time adrenaline seekers who had one thing in common—a last-minute training session the day before the big race. They weren’t seasoned rowers, nor did they have months of preparation. What they did have was sheer determination, a sprinkle of natural talent, and perhaps a bit too much caffeine.
With 42 teams in the competition, expectations were low. But then, the FMA crew stormed through their heat, clocking the third fastest time of the day. The semifinals? Another victory. Suddenly, the underdogs were in the cup finals.
The final race was a battle. The finish line was within reach. One last push—second place! Not bad for a team that barely trained.
Now, all eyes are on March 8th for the season’s final regatta. Will FMA take the crown? Come down, cheer them on, and witness history in the making!
